How Social Networking Can Affect Your Privacy

More and more young teens and children are logging onto social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter. It is so common that the rates of bullying and other issues are occurring in the virtual world as well as within society. One of the major concerns that is emerging is the lost of privacy found by using social networking sites. It is all too common on the news these days when children or teenagers have conformed into these social networking sites and provided too much information about themselves, making them vulnerable in the real world as well as the virtual world.

Recently, Zogby conducted an international survey which showed that 90 percent of parents believe their child share too much personal information online, where it is believed by 75 percent of participants that social networking sites are not protecting peoples privacy.
