Facebook Retorts To The Privacy Bill
In a move by top executives at Facebook, the social networking site has said that safeguarding private information compulsorily is not the manner in which a social network can function. Facebook officials have said that the website already uses the practice of "privacy. But forcing the restriction of free flow information on Facebook is entering into the territory of an individual's rights. Facebook also said that social networking is all about sharing your personal stuff like photographs, videos, etc. By passing this law it will be the death of free interaction.
However Senator Kerry responsible for introducing the bill is of the opinion that there will be safe networking as people will be able to choose what personal information they wish to share.
