Half A Billion Users On Facebook
Social networking will reach a tremendous milestone this week as Facebook is expected to reach 500 million users. The social networking giant has surpassed all other networks of its kind, and has claimed an internet record. If you think about it, 500 million users translates to half a billion people, which is absolutely phenomenal.
From the lowly confines of Mark Zuckerberg's dorm room, and now this. You can surely say that they've come a long way. Facebook plans to celebrate this achievement through a "Facebook Stories" campaign. This will involve real-life accounts of how Facebook has changed the lives of its users. This campaign will be different from any other that it has done in the past.
As part of it, Facebook users will be asked to visit the User Stories page and post up to 420 characters or less.
